Poly Students Protest Locks Down Ikorodu Road

Due to protracted Strike of ASUP, there is heavy traffic on the Ikorodu expressway, as  Lagos State students of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State are protesting over strike caused by disagreement between the Federal Government and academic staff  Union of Polytechnics in Nigeria (ASUP).
The cross section of students interviewed said that they decided to
protest on Ikorodu Road, Lagos, because the road is owned by the Federal Government although their school is located in Ogun State.
The students, who are over 200, are also calling on students in other higher institutions in Lagos to join their cause.
