Kano sate government summoned jamb Regestra over 2013 jamb mass faliure

The house of REPS in Kano State has summoned the JAMB, regestra Prof. Dibu Ojerinde over the mass failure of 2013/2014 jamb examination held on 27th April,2013.

This was brought to place by peaceful demonstration by the students who sat for 2013 JAMB in Kano state
Parading their poor result and also showing the withhold of some them of  results based on the problem of
biometric verification. The state PDP chairman Sulieman said that jamb officials have already explained some reasons about mass failure but is of no use if the complaints of the citizens are not attended TO.

Some of the students complaints said that some of them filled PPT exam on their Manuel paper but only find themselves being asked to write CBT without any formal knowledge of computer.

The house resolved by asking jamb not to use computer in 2013 jamb exam nbut jamb said that it will be optional. The chairman noted that to establish a relationship between the students’ mass failure and the introduction of computers for the examinations, the Chairman said that most students, especially those in the rural areas lacked pre-requisite computer knowledge to have performed above par
