60 students Expelled in IMSU due to poor performance

The Imo state university (IMSU) have expelled about sixty students of the university for their poor CGPA. The affected students including final year students were expelled because they failed to make up to the minimum 1.00 CGPA as required by the institution while some of the students who made up to 1.00 but could not make up to 1.50 were asked to repeat an academic session.

According to the school management this is to encourage the students to read harder and thereby enhance their skills and knowledge.
The students of the school reacted to this development in different ways, while many saw it as a welcome development which they feel will encourage them to become better students others see it as a harsh one since according to them all fingers are not equal.
we wants to encourage students to read their books and do all they can to become better students, this is because this country is tired of producing graduates who will have little or nothing to offer towards the development of the nation
