STUDENTS RIOT IN EBSU CONTINUED.

The 2ooLevel in Ebonyi State University, EBSU has continued the riot
today.

The Riot which was said to have started yesterday was because of

the increment in their school fees, the cross section of students

that was interviewed by schoolsgist,said that the school fees was

supposed to be Fourty-thousand Naira for indigenes and Sixty-

thousand for non-indigenes.They said that government and school

authority decided to increase it in their own time and that they

will not afford such amount.


Nevertheless, Medical Laboratory Students and Anatomy students said

theirs’ was increased to hundred and twenty-eight thousand naira

for indigenes and hundred and eighty-eight thousand naira for

non-indigenes, in previous riot yesterday the S.U.G. bus was

spoiled beyond repair and some students were arrested by the

policemen.

The same riot continued this morning by the same level of students

breaking the school glass windows,but nobody was arrested.
